ELTC Symposium - The Registration

One of the few things that I have been waiting for where carrer is concerned is this much awaited Symposum which has been the talk of everyone in the SISC+ circle since last year.  This symposium is organised by English Language Teaching Centre in Bandar ENSTEK in Nilai, Seremban.

The symposium Fostering Cycles of Improvement Towards Enhanced Student Outcomes is held for three days from 24th October 2016 to 26th October 2016.  The venue for this symposium is different from ELTC's previous events where they were held in hotels.  This event however is held at their home ground, ELTC itself.

One thing new for me this time is where the registration is done via the Quick Response Code.  I quickly got the hang of the apps and proceeded to help the other participants on downloading and registering. 

As usual courses or symposiums like this, apart from allowing us to learn new things and achievements by other SISC+ all over Malaysia, is also an opportunity to get together again with friends whom we have grown to know so well since 2014, when all the courses were held in hotels!

This time around however the accommodation provided for participants is at the Institut Perguruan Teknik which is only a stone's throw away from ELTC.  But participants are given the option to stay elesewhere as long it is not too far from ELTC.  I for one have opted to stay outside.  At my age, I feel I deserve some pampering and comfort, within my own means.  It is too bad that the economic setback has taken away many privileges from us late bloomers.  Well, ces't la vie!
